Bathroom Paint Job...

While scrolling through my pictures on my computer, I realized I don't think I ever showed pictures of the completed guest bathroom that I painted before the house went on the market.  I ended up loving the color, so it's just a shame that someone else will enjoy it instead of us (hopefully--sell, baby, sell!).

If my photography skills were a bit better, you could see the transition from the bedroom color to the bathroom.  It is 2 shades darker and a really fun contrast.

I liked the darker blue-gray (Sherwin Williams' "Software") with the shower curtain.  Very nautical.

My grand plan was to remove the towel bar and hang both of my crab paintings together above the toilet, but destroying the wall wasn't really in the hurry-up-and-get-the-house-on-the-market plan.

The darker color really livened up the bathroom.  I ended up using the Emerald line of paint from Sherwin Williams for this project (they were out of the cheap stuff, so they gave me this line for the same price=sweet!), which is their environmental-friendly, zero VOC paint line.  And let me tell you, this was really appreciated when painting in an upstairs, small bathroom.  I might have gotten high as a kite with any other paint, but the fumes were barely noticeable with this paint.  A great option when painting a small space, painting in the heat of the summer, or when painting while with child (I would imagine).  The paint went on just as smooth as any other Sherwin product, as well.  I give it 2 thumbs up!

So there you have it.  The bathroom paint job a little after the fact!
