An attempt at productivity...

I may have mentioned this before, but if not, I am an occasional scrapbooker.  I scrapbook about like I used to color in coloring books as a kid.  For a while, I'm all about it--can't get enough.  Then, the very next minute, I want next to nothing to do with it.  Don't want to get out all of the materials, clear a space for working, etc.  However, when I am in the mood, I really do love everything about scrapbooking.  I love laying out the pages, drafting captions for the photos, enjoying the finished product, etc.

I made Andy (and myself) a scrapbook for our wedding including pictures of our dating/engaged days.  After we got married, I decided to make another full of pictures of our wedding showers, wedding, and honeymoon.  But, as we got busy working on our home, I found that the scrapbook only gathered dust rather than completed pages.  Andy mentioned just the other day, "Hey, you haven't scrapbooked in a while."  True story, Mr. Bozeman.  It was time to pick up the ole' paper and pictures and get back to business.

This is the "title page" (if you want to call it that).

An engagement photo page...

Lingerie shower page (G-rated!)...

Bridal shoot page...

I have tried to keep the entire album red and brown (our wedding colors).  I have actually loved the continuity from page to page.  It made shopping for the paper A LOT easier!  My pattern pages bring in the brown with polka dots, gingham, and houndstooth prints.  I've used red cardstock to back pictures and to house my incredibly insightful captions and notes along the way. :)

Truth be told, the pages pictured above have been completed for a while now.  I actually got all of the materials out tonight to work, and I ended up laying out a couple of pages, and then found that I was out of photo stickers.  AWESOME.  Hence the word "attempt" in the title of the post.  Better luck next time!

NEWSFLASH:  Duncan the Stripping Dog Strikes Again!

Our resident pup got his "ears lowered" on Friday and has been cold ever since.  No, really.  On Sunday we found him shaking from cold INSIDE the house.  So, we did what any loving parents would do, and we clothed our furry friend.  I decided to try a preppy, college-boy look from his clothing stash and came away with this:

HAHA.  He seemed okay with it and seemed thankful for the added warmth.

Then we left him and went to church...

We came home to an innocent looking dog in his cage...

Who had attempted to slip off his clothing...

As shown here. :)  Maybe he just prefers a skirt?
