Hiking and Tater Tots

So, it's been a while.  Do I need to re-introduce myself?  Do I need to mention again that we are selling our house?  It's been a bit wild.  Like tonight.  We had a showing scheduled from 5:30-6:30.  So, I leave work close to 5, run home to grab the dog, start some music, and turn on some lights.  Then Duncan and I do our usual and drive around.  We make our final stop at our favorite "we can't go home" restaurant=SONIC.  Why Sonic?  First, Duncan loves their tater tots.  No, really.  And more importantly, you can sit in their parking lot for the majority of an hour and not get kicked out. :)

While on the topic, here are a few pics from a Saturday showing when Andy and I both took the little guy for a spin to Sonic...

"Duncan, I'm going to let you have a little bit of water, okay?"

Enjoying a few casual sips of water...

Really diving in the fun...

Yay!  The little guy is watered!

Later on that day, we learned a little something new about our furry friend.  He knows how to roll down the back window!
HAHA!  Look at that face!

"What?  Who doesn't know how to roll down a window?"

So, as you can see, we've had some good, quality time in the car lately.  Good thing gas only costs $3.50 a gallon, right?  When did that happen???

Back to our showing tonight...we finally finish our time at Sonic and head home only to find out that the house is STILL being shown.  We were already pressed for time to get to church, so naturally, we were crossing our fingers they would hurry up.  No such luck.  The supposed 5:30-6:30 showing lasted until 7.  Meaning, not enough time to get across town to church and not be REALLY late.  Awesome.

This is Showing #11, people.  Not to mention Open House a couple of weeks ago.  The odds are in our favor that someone will send an offer our way soon, right?  Cross your fingers!

On a completely different note, I have yet to share about our recent trip to Gatlinburg.  We had a blast AND were able to take our son, Duncan.  We shopped, ate good food, relaxed, and spent quality time with family.  One of the highlights on the trip, as usual, was a hike.

We were able to see these falls along the way...

So, naturally, Andy washed his hair...

And I jumped in as well. :)

We had great views of the Smokies and got some exercise as well.  It was a great trip!

Well, that's all for now.  I hope to be back sooner rather than later.  It seems that I don't have much to share now that our home is "finished."  Anyone need help around the house?  I'm dying to decorate something!
