Coffee Filter Wreath Project...

My mom gave me a bag full of small coffee filters that my dad had cleaned out at his office.  My grandmama bought me a 10 inch styrofoam wreath at Jo-Ann Fabric.  I had a hot glue gun with glue sticks ready to go.  Therefore, it was time to try my hand at a coffee filter wreath.

I've seen them done on several blogs recently, probably because they look wintery.  The project was truly as easy at it looks, and it only took me 30 minutes or so to complete while watching the Harry Potter movie marathon on ABC Family.  Nothing better!

The supplies...

I took single filters...

and folded them in half...

and in half again.

Then I hot glued them along the wreath.

This is the point when I got a little nervous.  But I kept on gluing.

And ended up with this wreath.

I put it in a tight spot in a spare bedroom.  Not bad for a half hour's work, if I do say so myself.

If you are looking for an inexpensive, easy craft for the holidays--try this one!
