Wedding Week: Day Uno

In honor of our upcoming FIRST ANNIVERSARY (yay Bozemans!), I wanted to take myself (and any of you who may choose to read) down memory lane for a bit.  So, I am going to attempt to relive some of the magic that was our wedding day last year just about this time.

To start, let's talk color.  Since the wedding took place in November, I knew I wanted to play off of the warm fall colors.  I am a warm color person by heart, so this was perfectly fine by me.  We went with cherry reds and chocolate browns.  I think I will continue to love this color combo simply because it reminds me of our big day.  Ah...fall. :)

The leaves were the perfect compliment to our red/brown theme...

We used numerous bright red gerbera daisies around the reception hall, in the girls' bouquets, etc.  My mom had actually "bronzed" the above urn to make it work with our color scheme, as well.

Again, the daisies with chocolate satin sashes on the ends of the church pews...

The girls wore chocolate satin dresses...the red daisies really seemed to pop on the brown of their dresses.

My mom made banners for the front doors of the church...again, tying in the colors.

Reception table decor...

My polka-dotted cake was supposed to be red and brown...don't get me started!!!

Andy's red and houndstooth cake...

More daisies!!!  P.S.--More information to come on a FABULOUS place to find AMAZING deals on GORGEOUS flowers...

Our favors were filled with hot chocolate, marshmallows, and chocolate chips with cutesy red and brown ribbon/stickers.

More reception table decor...

The all-too-perfect getaway car...

How I love fall...

The boys also wore red ties with their tuxes...I LOVED the pops of red (as I often do in our home).  Yes, I totally realize that I have used "pop" way too often in this post. :)

I am a firm believer in the power of color.  Can't you tell?

More wedding tid-bits to come!
