A few new additions...

A few changes have taken place in the Bozeman house in the decor department.  Thank goodness it's Saturday so I finally got a chance to blog about them!  It's been a long week with Andy in Tampa and me working late nights at school.  But now we are settled (for the moment) enough to chill out for a bit.  Andy has permanently placed himself in front of the TV for ESPN Gameday-related craziness, so I have all the time in the world to myself.  Here we go...

First off, I purchased this little cutie with my birthday moo-lah.  I have officially gotten old when I choose to spend my money on a chair.  It's similar to a Parsons chair, but it seems to be made wider.  I really liked the simplicity of the design.  This will replace the club chair in our bedroom (I'll show the change when we move the furniture around).

The chair is covered in a natural linen fabric.  I'm hoping it will always be a very versatile piece in our home.

Next, I rearranged the end tables in the living room to make room for the end table that I painted.  It doesn't look like much in the picture, and the cream-colored carpet doesn't really help it either, but I think I really like the style/design next to our big, honking couch.

Due to the size and height change in using this end table, I had to also move my lamps around.  I attempted to fix the height situation with a couple of books.  It seemed to do the trick!

Also new this mom hung some new curtains that she had made for us in the guest bedrooms.  Too cute!

Question:  What is that creepy ghost-like ring floating in the picture?  Weird.  I really liked how the curtains made the room feel homier and more finished.  I'm sure Andy LOVES the floral print...I haven't even asked.  Does his opinion really matter all that much when it comes to decor?  Well, sometimes I let him think so...

These were added to the other guest bedroom.  It's hard to see, but it's a slightly coral-like white print on black fabric.

I can't remember if I have ever photographed this room, but for the record, I'm not crazy about the wall color.  I was going for a camel-brown color in here and it came out looking like a basketball.  It will eventually be changed.  But for right now, we don't really ever go in this room anyway, so it will remain basketball-colored for now.

Well, I believe those are all of the significant changes around here for now.  I'm off to prepare a grocery list--what a great way to spend a Saturday, right???  Have a great weekend!

P.S.--Thanks a million for the curtains, Mom!
